international non-profit organisation devoted to
education, research, and archiving information
related to Capsicum. The Institute
collaborates with the New Mexico State University
Chile Breeding and Ge netics Program to preserve
chilli germ-plasm of both cultivated and wild
species, and to advance the studies of chilli peppers
dreaded diseases. We joined The Chile Pepper
Institute in
1999
as individuals using the wealth of knowledge the
institute has which enabled us to become as well as
utterly crazy about chillies
